District level ceremony on International Day of the Girl Child, message given to end feticide

On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, girls who achieved the highest grades in grades 10 and 12 in public schools in Karauli district were congratulated. During it, girls who won gold medals in various sports were also honored. At the district-level award ceremony held in Karauli town, more than 100 girls who achieved the highest number from grades 10 to 12 were honoured. Along with this, players who have won gold medals in various sports competitions have also been honored with citations and badges.

District Education Officer Bharat Lal wished the girls luck as they head towards a bright future. He said it was his privilege to honor the little girl. On this occasion, the awareness and message of stopping feticide was given by presenting a dance drama about the prevalence of feticide in society. Speakers placed particular emphasis on increasing equality and reducing discrimination in society.
