The ninth week of the ongoing Big Brother Naija Level Up competition was disappointing, short of drama and notable moments. It’s safe to say that the Nigerians can’t wait for the competition to end as the housemates are just waiting to find out their respective fates in the coming days.

The current house manager, Chichi knows she will earn a spot on the final day, not necessarily as the winner, but finishing in the top five. Other finalists include fan favorite Phyna and underdog Daniella.

They were saved by Chichi’s benevolence, we’ll look at why the HOH kept the two housemates in the competition later in this article.

As for the controversial couple, Sheggz and Bella, they will fight for the votes to stay in the house during the most important week of the competition. Other housemates subject to eviction include Adekunle, Groovy, Hermes and Bryann.

It is important to note that the riders, Rachael and Chizzy will not leave the competition until the last day. This was revealed during their introduction in week three of the competition.

Just a little reminder to the fans of the reality show, the seventh edition of the Big Brother Naija competition will end on Sunday, October 2. In a week, someone will become a millionaire by winning the grand prize of N100 million and moving on to a new phase in their life.

Now, let’s get down to business and see what week nine had to offer viewers.

1. Nigerians question Biggie’s decision to keep Sheggz at home

This season’s competition has been marred by controversial decisions since its launch.

First, the division of houses at the start of the show made viewers doubt the authenticity of the season, as most housemates were perceived to have been more favored than others.

In the last live eviction show on Sunday, September 18, Sheggz was not evicted despite finishing as the third-lowest housemate.

While Allysyn and Dotun finished with the lowest number of votes, Sheggz was slightly above them.

This is how Nigerians voted;

Sheggz: 18.62%

Dotun: 7.86%

Allison: 7.70%

The result has raised questions and sparked debate among Nigerians.

Here’s what they have to say.

Only the show organizers can explain why they decided to keep it in the house. A week earlier, three housemates were kicked out of the show, hence, Nigerians were expecting the same. Unfortunately, that wasn’t going to be the case.

2. Chichi explains why she chose Daniella, Phyna to appear in the grand finale with her

Current head of house Chichi, in a chat with Biggie on Wednesday, explained why she decided to save her co-worker, Daniella Peters and Phyna, from possible elimination.

3. Chichi and Bella compete on a betting task

This list wouldn’t be complete without Bella getting into an argument. For the umpteenth time this season, she had a heated conversation with another head of house.

This time it’s Chichi.

Preparation for Tuesday night’s betting task ended on an almost violent note after housemates Chichi and Bella clashed over the latter’s “rudeness”.

The heated argument ensued over Bella repeatedly interrupting Chichi during a meeting about their betting assignment for the week.

Until the day comes, viewers should cross their fingers.

On Tuesday, viewers thought they saw the end of Sheggz and Bella’s relationship after the couple had a few non-romantic minutes that saw Bella briefly date and Sheggz threatening to end their relationship.

The lovers were back in love mode in no time.
