The Mukhyamantri Parivar Samriddhi Yojana (MMPSY) was started by the CM of Haryana, Shri Manoj Lal Khattar with the aim of helping the poorest families in the state. The disbursement of funds for the above mega project started in February 2020. Economic security in old age and insurance is not something that every poor household has access to. Hence, this scheme has been specially designed for the less fortunate to provide financial assistance in the form of pensions and Rs 500 per month.

How to Check MMPSY Claim Status

To check the status of their application, applicants should follow these steps

Step 1. Visit the official program portal cm-psy.haryana.gov.in

Step 2. Click “Check Online Status”

Step 3. You will be redirected and required to enter your Aadhar card number given at the time of application.

Step 4. Click on the blue colored option next to it that asks you to verify your claim status

Step 5. “Beneficiary Status” will open. You can see member name, father/husband name, amount, remarks and plan name on the screen. Download the page and print it for future reference.

Advantages of MMPSY

₹6000 will be provided annually to each applied member in a specific family under the MMPSY program. Payment will be made in three easy installments. In addition, beneficiaries will receive a pension of ₹3000 per month when they cross the age of sixty. Also, family keepsakes will be given a sum of Rs 2 lakh in case of death of the core member. ₹330 is deducted annually from registered bank account to maintain life insurance while ₹12 is deducted to maintain accidental insurance.

To be eligible for the scheme, families must not own agricultural land of more than 2 hectares. The annual income must be less than a sum of 1 lakh 80 thousand rupees. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 50. They must permanently reside in Haryana and also carry proof of residency. They must also possess a valid functioning bank account where the amounts can be transferred and withdrawn. The main target of the program is economically weak farmers and the poorest sections of society facing financial insecurity. Applicants should keep in mind that Aadhar card, resident certificate, income certificate, proof of age and photocopy of first page of bank book are the quintessence of the application. Those who have not yet applied can do so quickly online by accessing the official portal or by paying a small support fee at a Community Service Center (CSC).
